Local Missions is something we are very passionate about commencing from our Sunday services and continuing into our community in many and varied forms.

Sunday Services

Every Sunday sees the SFC team hold a 9:30am service. This contemporary service is a place where you can connect with God in a vibrant atmosphere.

Christmas Outreach

Every December we hold a huge Carnival and Carols event. The Carnival commences at 4.00pm followed by the Carols at 6.00pm. The local community is invited to enjoy all the fun and food and everything is FREE!!!!

Chaplains

Daniel Abouzeid is Chaplain at Bethany Christian School. On a weekly basis he teaches the Year 6 level Biblical Studies. As well as this he is responsible for bringing the relevance of God’s Word in the two Chapel Services held at the school each week.

We also support our local High School in Parafield Gardens by contributing to the sponsoring of Briony as chaplain as she works alongside young people going through the many challenges of teenage life.

Church Planting

SFC supports Pastors Steve and Jen Strikwerda and their amazing team at the new Mawsons Lakes Church. This church was commenced in September 2005 with 15 people and now have grown to 50 in this short time. They reach a diverse group of people from many nationalities including Chinese, Indonesian, Sri Lankan Liberian & Sudanese.

Nursing Home Ministry

Every second Wednesday morning a team of dedicated workers conduct a Service in the Salisbury Private Nursing Home. These elderly residents really enjoy the time of singing and inspirational sharing.
